Exercise in warm water, usually called aquatic exercise or hydrotherapy is a popular treatment for many patients with neurologic or musculoskeletal diseases. Aquatic exercise utilizes the property of water such as the warmth, buoyancy, and hydrostatic effects for relieving pain and improving strength, endurance, cardiovascular fitness in these patients.
